I'm new here. I have been collecting stuff since the show basically began. I am looking for new and interesting ways to display it in my house without looking like the female version of the 40 year old virgin.
While I admit to having the opening words from "All things" inked onto my bedroom walls and cubeicals filled with comics, books, action figures, etc. I'm proudly attempting to display all of the statues (except those busts...they creep me out), some art, etc. Just a little stumped as to ways to do that.
I'd love to know what you all have and how you display the stuff in your homes without looking like an obsessed lunatic.

That's awesome. Welcome to the forum btw glad to meet another collector! I'm the same way. I don't want to look to geeked out but don't want to hide it either. I don't have much displayed tbh. I do have some palz figurines and two sideshow figures displayed at my desk. And in my room I have a few posters and some framed autographs all from iwtb on one small side wall so it's sorta themed like. lol. Other than that the rest are in binders and plastic bins. Maybe having one or two display cases would be suited? That way one can have a nice collection of stuff displayed and its nicely contained & not spread out. I know a couple folks have done that on here and you may find some of those pictures in the showcase section. If you ever get a chance to take some photos or a list, we'd love to hear/see what you have!

I seem to be going the other way I am putting more and more away. I found the plastic on some of the packaging was yellowing and stuff was fading. I have out "common" books,DVD and videos, along with mugs, statues and the trading card binders. The rest is packed away safe from daylight and moths XD

I have out "common" books,DVD and videos, along with mugs, statues and the trading card binders. The rest is packed away safe from daylight and moths XD I have 6 large bookcases that I have same items on display & like you I have a stack of good quality plastic storage bins full of paper goods be it comics, magazine, scripts etc.. . The room with the bookcases has full block out blinds & is on the side of the house where I do not get direct sunlight & is kept locked at all times . I do have some of my figures in the bookcase but seeing that It is dark most of the time I don't worry but the yellowing as I will happen even if they are stored in a totally dark area just at a slightly slower right . I do have a block out blind over my mosaic that's in the front of my house ( gets a lot of light even with the blinds closed) as I don't want the cards to fade .the blind is the same colour as the walls & most people think it is the wall until I roll it up . It blows their minds . if i wanted to display all my collection I would need a larger room with at least another 4-6 cases & that's not displaying the faces of the magazines/ comics guess I look like a obsessed lunatic

I don't think it is possible to display "everything" I think it is best to rotate items so it looks different and you save some of the light damage XD
