Sad truth.
Tis the season...does anyone have xf on their wishlist this year? I think for me, I'd wish for a gift card for when something interesting xf related comes up on eBay.

Bumping this..
It's been slow and I've been slacking. Too much going on in real life.
How's it going with everyone? Any new items worth sharing?
I'm thinking again about maybe adding a co-admin or a mod to this place to keep it up and try to expand since I cannot keep it going myself. Hate to let the place die off though. Any suggestions or ideas? Interested in a position mentioned?

X-Files collecting is dull at the moment nothing in the UK I want and anything from overseas the postage is 3 or 4 times the cost of the item. I was watching a XF neck warmer and it was $6.99 but postage was $12.00 I gave up and didn't bother.
I have to admit that at the moment I have lost the love for it all. This has happened before and the love has returned and I am sure it will this time but for now there are other things I want more than another item to photograph, put away and not see again for 3 years. If someone offered me a decent amount for the lot I would seriously consider it XD

I hear you. Surprising I haven't even been on eBay for at least a week. Haha that's actually surprising in my case.
Lately, when I was on there I'd see things that seem sorta interesting but, like you mentioned, it would be put away and not seen for quite sometime. Also some things have been ridiculously priced as of late. Shame.
I have actually been considering just selling off a bunch of stuff but I know later I'll regret when I will eventually get back into a bit more 'mass' collecting.

I go through this time and time again, spend a load of money, it sits on a shelf then it all needs dusting, the end of the month I have no money, then I wonder to myself well if I didn't buy A and B then I would.
Still got my collection, I've finally added to it for the first time in a long time. Back at work, earning money ... even though I should still be off work resting.

Guilty as charged too! I also have been slacking and struggling to find the time to make it back here! I hear exactly what all you guys are saying about falling out of love with it, but knowing that if you part with anything important you'll regret it! Again, I considered selling my collection, but was advised not to. I think it probably is the lack of things to collect, the lack of activity with X-Files in general and the sheer cost of things, but I'm hanging on in there!!!

I need the money more than I need my collection . Maybe Gillian, David or Chris could buy it for a museum or something. But would love to know what you call a decent amount . (message me if you want) I would buy it if I had spare cash or if I come into money but the shipping would kill me.

I say I want to sell but when it comes to it I don't know I could part with it. I don't know whats it is actually worth. Not as much as I have paid over the years but I do have some very rare stuff. So I think £15K ONO would do it ( buyer to pay postage) that would get me a couple of good holidays. XD

I've been feeling that itch to really sell off and keep only a few items. There are some things in life I want to do and feels like all the xf stuff is weighing me down considerably. It would be insanely hard to actually sell off though. I already donate extras and unwanted items to charities so that's some weight off the shoulders.

Bump.
Anyone out there? It's been so slow lately. We need more interesting merchandise to come out. UK getting a blu ray steel book and the US getting a blu ray season release..*sigh* oh, and comics which I am stil unsure is even worth it story wise. /ramble.
Anywho, If know any other fans and collectors..pass them the link. It would be fun to see more collectors.
