Not bad at all. Shipping sorta sucks though! 35 Euro? Doesn't make sense to me.

I hadn't noticed how much the postage was that is very expensive. I find that people in the US want a lot for postage. I was looking at a T shirt and $10 for the t shirt but $35 for postage!! I didn't bother, this has happened several times now. I think they put a high postage on to stop people from abroad bidding. XD

Or more likely, because they have no idea how much shipping to europe really costs. Because default prices from ebay are totally off the charts... Because packages get lost and paypal asks for a sending proof to give the money back to the seller (and tracked oversea packages really cost an arm...)
Just ask and the seller might want to revise his price.

I also find that's true vice versa. I have had experiences where items in Europe to ship to the US were too much for what's it's worth.
Shame that bomber jacket didn't sell. .99 was a steal!
Personally, the only xf related jacket I have is the Expo jacket and it just sits in the closet so I don't think I would of gone for it.

Depends on which side of the ocean you are, it's true. USPS offers decent prices to ship overseas and that's a chance for us! French Post offices don't want to take any risk: max insurance even if the object is 1$, tracking service, signed for... And they make the customer pay for all that stuff...

Expensive!
I'm not sure if this is true or not...so if anyone else is US located maybe can clear this up but I was told when I last shipped an item overseas I couldn't get delivery confirmation at all. This was via USPS. Which I thought was messed up. Technically the customs declaration has a tracking number but it's not actually used for that purpose and never is updated.
So I think from a sellers point of view that's pretty jacked up especially if it's sent flat rate priority which for overseas is almost triple the price of domestic and that includes confirmation.
Anywho..sorry for my lil rant

I won the jacket, very nice and great price. 20 somethingo pounds.
Seller ended early then relisted with 10x the starting bid! 99p would have been a steal.

I can maybe provide some insight on the USPS shipping. I am a US seller and do a pretty good bit of business with overseas customers. Anything under 5 pounds weight and less than 36 inches total dimension can go 1st Class International but that has absolutely no tracking available and takes the longest time. Example: 2 pound package to Oz = $18.55 USD. Same package sent USPS Priority International = $33.60 USD. Same package sent USPS Flat Rate Priority = anywhere from $45.50 to $58.50 USD depending on which flat rate box you can cram it into. Priority has a 4 part Customs form that has a trackable number but I was told by a USPS manager that it would take an extremely long period of time to track a parcel via that number. If you ship to certain countries you can Register an item which adds at least $9.00 USD to the overall shipping and it is very easy to track with the registration number. The USPS is really pushing this Flat Rate crap and I think most sellers are using it as the default. I find it to be very overpriced for US domestic shipping: an 8 oz action figure can go across country for $5.95 USD regular Priority but Flat Rate is$10.95 USD. Expect more shenanigans as the USPS sinks further and further into debt.

I think for the price for flat rate priority internationally should come with registered services. The customs track is pointless.
For domestic, I tend to use flat rate envelope because I think it's pretty good compared to the cost I would pay for having to buy shipping supplies. A small discount on paypal with free confirmation delivery works well for me.

You can get non-flat rate boxes for free at the USPS or you can have them delivered for free to your home. I use the free DC from PayPal also. I just keep some of each and go with what's cheapest for the buyer.
